It did not prove luck for Arsenal but the longer-term impact of the all-white kit they wore in Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Nottingham Forest may prove to be far more important than one game of football.

The kit was to mark the launch of a new campaign ‘No More red’ in partnership with Adidas to tackle knife crime.

Over 10,000 knife-related incidents were recorded in London over the time period of last season and today’s Daily Video above is a bid to call a halt to that.

It has star appeal with Idris Elba and Ian Wright, and a powerful message.  The White shirt worn in the closing scene will not be made commercially available but will be given to those individuals making a positive mark within their community.
