Tennis Ireland has announced ticketing details for September’s Davis Cup tie against the People’s Republic of China on Saturday, 13 and Sunday, 14 September 2025 at the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown.

The Davis Cup tie staged in Limerick in 2024 was a complete sell-out, and this is the first time a home tie has been held in Dublin since 2015.

The fixture follows a landmark summer for Irish tennis, capped by record crowds at the 2025 Irish Open and a breakout performance from Michael Agwi, Ireland’s No.1 and a member of the Davis Cup team.

Agwi’s run to the final at Carrickmines CLTC last weekend solidified his status as the emerging figurehead of Irish men’s tennis.

The September showdown will mark the first Davis Cup tie held in Dublin since 2015, offering Irish fans a rare opportunity to support the national team in a live, elite international fixture.

The Sport Ireland Campus, purpose-built for high-performance sport, will provide a fitting backdrop for this historic event.

“We’re seeing a real lift in Irish tennis in terms of participation, talent and public interest,” said Kevin Quinn, CEO of Tennis Ireland.

“Hosting a Davis Cup tie at the Sport Ireland Campus is a natural next step, giving fans the chance to get behind the team and see top-class international tennis in a world-class setting.”

This year’s Irish Open was widely regarded as a breakthrough moment, not just for Agwi but for a new wave of Irish talent.

14-year-old Leah Puk impressed on her senior debut, while strong showings from Conor Gannon, Sinead Lohan, Ammar Elamin, Kate Gardiner, and Freddy Murray further demonstrated the growing strength and depth within the national game.

The upcoming Davis Cup tie offers a chance to build on that momentum — both on and off the court — as Irish tennis seeks to capture the imagination of a growing fanbase.
