Eircom has marked the launch of the second year of its sponsorship of the All Ireland Football Championship by developing the country’s first ever online interactive GAA Timeline.It celebrates GAA Football Championship stories from 1885 through to the present day and allows users to upload and share their own GAA stories on one simple platform, www.experiencemore.ie
The initiative taps into the social media vogue of sharing images, stories and videos and if succesful will create a living history of the Championships.
In addition, eircom’s interactive online platform has a number of specific features to help GAA enthusiasts brush up on their GAA football knowledge with categories such as ‘Did you Know?’, ‘Heroes’ and ‘Fan Favourites’ a part of the site. It will also include blogs from Mickey Harte and Ciaran Whelan, full Championship fixtures and results and coaching videos
Uploaded content will be screened for approriateness and accuracy.
