The Leaders Lounge was a great success yesterday at the RDS in Dublin with hundreds of Sport for Business tuning in to hear the wisdom of Paul McGinley, Jim Gavin, Lisa Fallon, Fiona Coughlan and Stuart Lancaster.
We caught up for a quick review with Michael King from Titan Experience in the video above.
The new hybrid mix of live-action and heavyweight studio production was as good as a studio set up you would see on RTÉ or CNN and the numbers of the more than 1,600 attendees who stayed with the full two and a half-hour show was close to 100 per cent.
The discussions, led by Claire Brock shifted seamlessly between the personal and the professional the big picture and the small detail.
We were fortunate to be there on-site and able to share some behind the scenes material from what was taking place.
Over the coming days we hope to make some of the material available in bite-size chunks but here is a taste of how the afternoon played out.

Putting together an event like #Leaderslounge involves more than arranging the furniture. Class operation for likely short and perhaps medium term future of events. ? @TitanExperience pic.twitter.com/RfqoNteoUZ

Penalty taking is not a lottery. @lisafallonsport looked it up. The Expected Goals number equates to a 76% chance. Believe. #Leaderslounge pic.twitter.com/svXu7ZMLXx

Lest you ever think that what you say to your kids doesn’t matter, grab a chance to listen back to Jim Gavin on his parents and his upbringing. #Leaderslounge That was a moment. pic.twitter.com/BLqb0nuQfT
