The GAA has confirmed that Harvey Norman is the new official GAA Statistics Sponsor in an agreement that will run for a three-year term from 2024 to 2026.

This is a first for Harvey Norman Ireland in the sports world. The brand appeared for the first time in the AIB All Ireland Club Championship semi-finals and will do so during all live televised games in the All-Ireland Senior Football & Hurling Championships, AIB GAA Club Championship and Allianz Leagues.

The partnership will be activated via the GAA’s broadcast partners, namely RTÉ, TG4 and GAAGO.

Live statistics will also be available to patrons during televised games at Croke Park on the big screens.

The sponsorship will feature branding for both Harvey Norman and the GAA across Harvey Norman marketing campaigns and throughout live broadcasts of the GAA’s highest profile games of the years.

“The GAA is delighted to welcome Harvey Norman on board as our new official Statistics Sponsor,” said President Larry McCarthy.

“GAA supporters have a long tradition of tracking statistics during games and will, no doubt, enjoy receiving live updates when watching games.”

“The GAA holds a special place in Irish life,” added Harvey Norman Ireland CEO Tim Hannon.

“So many of our customers and 1,400 staff across the island of Ireland are involved with or are avid fans and we’re excited that we can work with the GAA to continue to strengthen its unique place in our culture.”

“With 18 stores across the island of Ireland, we’re proud to be working with the GAA on this partnership and we’re looking forward to strengthening our relationship with the association, both at a national and local level in the years ahead.”
