Golf Ireland has announced a new partnership with leading equipment manufacturer PING, which will see the brand become the official supplier of golf bags and headcovers to Ireland’s elite amateur players through the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
As part of the agreement, top Irish amateur golfers will receive customised PING carry bags and head covers featuring the Golf Ireland branding.
Golf Ireland CEO Mark Kennelly
“This is another exciting step forward for Golf Ireland,” said Mark Kennelly, Golf Ireland CEO.
“PING is renowned for exceptional quality and innovation, and we’re delighted that our elite amateurs will benefit from their equipment. It’s a statement of our commitment to support Irish golfers in achieving success at the highest levels.”
The collaboration further strengthens PING’s presence within European amateur golf, with Golf Ireland joining a growing list of high-performance teams and national federations backed by the brand.
“We are thrilled to partner with Golf Ireland officially,” added Dave Fanning, European Marketing Director at PING.
“To enable more of Europe’s top high-performance teams and development staff to carry our products is something we’re extremely proud to support, and the very positive feedback we’ve already received from the Golf Ireland teams has been fantastic.”
The new-look bags and accessories are set to feature on fairways across Europe and beyond over the next two years, as Ireland’s top-ranked amateurs compete in domestic and international events.
