The Great Ireland Charity Bike Ride will take place on September 26th in both a physical and virtual fashion.

It will be part of a new Family Bike Ride Festival taking part at Corkagh Park in South West Dublin, as well as online.

The physical festival will include a one kilometre cycle course for families, Mountain Bike, BMX and education activities.

The cost for a family will be €45 with proceeds from the event going to Aware and the Irish Hospice Foundation.

The virtual option costs €20 and the challenge is to gather family and friends to ride a 20km, 60km, or 100km distance in your local area.

The event is being organised by Titan Experience with the backing of Sport Ireland, Cycling Ireland, The Department of Health, and Healthy Ireland.

It will be one of the key events as part of the European Week of Sport
