Guinness has launched its campaign in support of the Autumn Rugby Internationals at the Aviva Stadium which get underway next week on the team’s arrival home from the game against Italy at Soldier Field in Chicago.

#AnswerIrelandsCall celebrates the camaraderie between rugby fans, by giving them a voice and rallying them to get behind the Irish Rugby team ahead of the three-game Guinness series.

The promotional campaign will include giving away a number of pairs of tickets to each fixture including the massive All Blacks game which will see Ireland aim to repeat their Solider field success and beat New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium for the first time.

These will primarily be given away through the Guinness Facebook page where fans are invited to upload photos or videos in support of the Irish team.

The messages will also be part of the matchday digital activation around the ground. Tickets for the Argentina and All Blacks games on 10th and 17th November are already sold out.

“One of the best things about playing for Ireland was the fans,” said Ronan O’Gara who is an ambassador for the campaign.

“Irish fans are the best in the world. They get behind the team and give them a lift when they need it most. It’s great to see Guinness acknowledge this by creating this platform, #AnswerIrelandsCall, to show their support as well as giving them access to the live action.”

“Guinness has a long-standing heritage with rugby and we are proud to sponsor a sport that aligns with what we stand for,” added Colum Campbell, Brand Manager with Guinness.

“As anticipated, there’s been a lot of demand for tickets to Ireland matches and unfortunately, not everyone was successful so we want to use our association with the tournament to give fans the chance to be there, experience the incredible atmosphere for themselves and #AnswerIrelandsCall.”
