This Friday is the National Collection Day for Special Olympics Ireland.
It is the single most important day for raising funds to support Special Olympics Ireland’s work across clubs, athletes, and families in every corner of the country.
If you can, it would be much appreciated if you could spare a moment to donate.
You can do so as an individual, an organisation or a club. Every cent will help create a world of sport and aspiration for adults and children with an intellectual disability.
Volunteers are out and about through the day with cash and card options.
You can also donate in all Sports Direct and Gala Retail outlets.
“Our grassroots programmes are the foundation of everything we do at Special Olympics Ireland,” said CEO Matt English.
“They provide athletes with intellectual disabilities with the opportunity to participate in sports, make new friends, and achieve their goals.”
“We are incredibly proud of the impact these programmes have had on the lives of so many athletes across the country, and we are determined to continue to support them in any way we can.”
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference to the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities and their families.
