South African referee Jaco Peyper returns to the Guinness Six Nations for the first time since 2020 and will take charge of Ireland’s opening weekend clash with Wales before being in the middle for the Super Saturday finale between France and England at the Stade de France in Round 5.
England’s Wayne Barnes will edge closer to a century of international referee appointments when he takes the whistle for Scotland’s trip to Dublin in Round 5 – which will be his 98th Test match and his 16th in the Championship.
Nika Amashukeli from Georgia will make his tournament debut when he takes charge of Ireland v Italy in Round 3, the first Georgian to referee a Championship game.
Australia’s Angus Gardner will be the ref for France v Ireland and France’s Mathieu Raynal will be on the whistle for Ireland’s trip to face England at Twickenham.
Andrew Brace will take charge of Wales vs Italy where Joy Neville will be the TMO. Chris Busby and Frank Murphy are other Irish Referees as part of teams while Brian MacNeice of Teneo will be the TMO for England against Wales in Twickenham on Saturday, February 26th.
