The IRFU Charitable Trust 2024 Rugby Lunch will take place today at the Intercontinental Hotel, a drop goal kick away from where Ireland will take on New Zealand in the evening.
Olympians and Rugby 7s stars Erin King, Jordan Conroy and Harry McNulty will be the special guests for the occasion.
The event kicks off at 12 midday with a drinks reception – kindly sponsored by Guinness, followed by a three course silver service lunch from 1pm. The event is sponsored once again by AON, sponsors of the Women’s Irish team.
The Lunch is a key calendar occasion for the Charitable Trust in raising funds to support the 36 seriously injured rugby players and their families across the four provinces of Ireland.
The generosity shown by all at last year’s Lunch was humbling with a record attendance of over 400 people as well as a record amount raised through an incredibly supported Charity Raffle, Live and Silent Auctions.
This year, long term supporter to the IRFU Charitable Trust, Keith Lowe from DNG, will be the Auctioneer for the Rugby Lunch Live Auction.
We will be there today as guests of Eddie Evans and Beauchamps and look forward to seeing a few Sport for Business members through the day.
The Sport for Business Membership comprises nearly 300 organisations, including all the leading sports and sponsors, as well as commercial and state agencies.Â
