The IRFU will host a 150th Gala Dinner on Friday, 29th November 2024 in the RDS which will raise funds to support the 150th Anniversary programme together with the IRFU Charitable Trust.
The theme of this dinner is to celebrate all that rugby has achieved in Ireland over the past 150 years and a core part of that is Grand Slam success on the field.
The four living Grand Slam winning Captains Brian O’Driscoll (2009), Fiona Coghlan (2013), Rory Best (2018), and Johnny Sexton (2023) will all be speaking on the night, and there is potentially a place reserved for Peter O’Mahony as well should fate and excellence on the field deliver a back-to-back Grand Slam in 2024.
The IRFU 150th Anniversary Season is a hugely significant milestone in the history of Irish Rugby. The IRFU will be running a number of events throughout the 2024 / 25 season which brings together past and present rugby communities, across all four provinces, to celebrate the sport’s standing at local and national levels.
This black-tie gala event is going to be a truly iconic occasion and below you will find the relevant details of the package, with much more to be announced too.
The event is being staged by THP, the IRFU’s Official Hospitality Partner. To find out more information contact Irfu150Gala@thp.ie or call the team at THP on 01 676 2728.
