Irish Life is to be the naming rights partner of the Dublin City Half Marathon, enhancing its commitment to the running community and promoting a healthier lifestyle.
This collaboration builds on Irish Life’s title sponsorship of the Irish Life Dublin Marathon and the Irish Life Dublin Race Series.
“We are thrilled to welcome Irish Life as a partner,” said Race Director Jim Aughney.
“Their dedication to supporting the running community is evident. We share strong synergies in our goals of providing opportunities for people to be active and healthy, with runners of all abilities preparing for the 21km distance.”
“The Dublin City Half Marathon combines two things we’re passionate about at Irish Life – helping people take steps to a healthy lifestyle and supporting our local community,” added Irish Life CEO Declan Bolger.
“Partnering with the Dublin City Half Marathon allows us to connect with even more runners of all levels and inspire a passion for fitness and wellbeing. And with the event start-line just a stone’s throw away from Irish Life’s office in the heart of Dublin 1, we’re really looking forward to the buzz that this brings to the area on the 30th of March.”
To celebrate their partnership, Irish Life is running a competition offering 21 free entries, one for every kilometre of the Dublin City Half Marathon. The competition will close at 5pm Tuesday 18th of February. Winners will be notified by Thursday 20th of February. This initiative aims to support people in becoming more active and, ultimately, lead healthier lives.
The race sold out within two hours of going on sale earlier this year.
The Dublin City Half Marathon will take place on 30th of March and is organised in partnership with Dublin City Council – the official event partner.
