
The field will be graced by many of the players that Miller played with through his career from Roy Keane, Dennis Irwin and Ryan Giggs at Man United to Richard Dunne, Stilyan Petrov and Damien Duff on the Celtic and Ireland team they will face.
Sir Alex Ferguson, who brought Miller from one club to the other is not well enough to make the journey but has written in the match programme of how much of an impact Miller made.
The action gets underway from lunchtime and there will be a celebration of Gaelic Games at halftime, a little touch needed to get around the GAA rule which at one point threatened to derail the staging of the game in Cork’s biggest stadium.
Part of the overall sums of money raised will go towards a GAA benevolent fund for injured players.

The game will be televised live on Virgin Media One with Kick off at 3 PM.
It will be a day of celebration of a man of Cork, who played all sports and was taken away far too soon by illness.
