It was another bumper month for Olytico’s Sport for Business social media analysis, with 13,425 posts and close to 6 million engagements across X, Facebook, and Instagram.

July’s TikTok analysis (to be published on Thursday) includes over 600,000 engagements and close to 8 million views, along with the answer to an all-important question.

Before Team Ireland arrived in Paris for the Olympics, July 2024 started with a historic series draw for the Men’s Rugby team in South Africa. This included Leona Maguire’s first Ladies European Tour title, two All-Ireland finals, Rhasidat Adeleke’s first Diamond League win, and a phenomenal result for the Women’s Senior Football team against France in Cork.

100 years after Ireland’s first Olympics in Paris, we have seen four Rowing teams in Olympic Finals for the first time, three swimmers making Finals, a plethora of personal bests, and unprecedented medal success for individuals and Team Ireland as a whole.

It’s important to note and recognise that several of the individual successes came towards the end of July and that the data reflects up to midnight on 31st July. The remainder of the Games will be picked up in our August Report.

In the infographics that form part of this analysis, we have ranked each of the organisations across a range of metrics on each network, including the most active, the most engaged with, and the most engaging content.
