The Irish Sport and Exercise Sciences Association has announced the first details of its 2025 Conference, which will take place on May 22nd and 23rd.

The Past, Present, and Future of Sport and Exercise Sciences Research and Applied Practice in Ireland will be the theme of the event, which will be held on the South East Technological University Campus in Waterford.

The programme includes a blend of keynote addresses, panel discussions and invited symposia.

Among the speakers will be Dr Diane Cooper, the Founder of EduFit, Neasa Russell of Paralympics Ireland, Dr Aoife Lane of TUS Shannon, Dr John Kiely of the University of Limerick and Dr Brian Moore of Orreco.

On the first day, Tom Barr, Laura Treacy, and Tiernan O’Donnell will participate in an athlete panel, and Dr Peter Tierney will speak on Pitch to Performance Apparel on Friday.

There will be several postgraduate presentations throughout the event.

Sponsors and Exhibitors will have the opportunity to engage with the membership of the association and the speakers.
