Jenny Kelly has been appointed GAA Sponsorship Manager with Bord Gáis Energy.
Kelly previously worked with Basketball Ireland and prior to that worked for five years with Teneo on an array of high-profile sponsorships including those of Allianz, Vhi, Canterbury, eir Sport and more.
She established herself as an emerging leader within the sport and sponsorship industry, having been recognised as one of the Sport for Business PwC 30 Under 30 Young Leaders in 2018.
She graduated from college with a Business and Management Degree and has since completed diplomas in Public Relations and School of Radio with Today FM.
Kelly has a passion for GAA and has played in the Dubs All-Stars game that is the traditional herald of the game at the start of the year. That despite her county allegiance being more green and gold.
She will take over the role vacated by Sorcha Fennel Sheehan who departed to live in Washington DC last year.
Bord Gais Energy has been partners of the GAA for more than ten years and renewed for a further three years at the beginning of 2019. The current partnership includes the Senior and U20 All Ireland Hurling Championships as well as the Legends Series Tours at the Croke Park Museum.
They also sponsor the Irish Sports Book of the Year category at the An Post Irish Book Awards.
Bord Gáis Energy and the GAA are among more than 250+ members of the Sport for Business network of sporting and business organisations working together across a number of key areas.
