Teneo has announced a new partnership with Justin Rose, who will join the firm as a Brand Ambassador in a deal that begins this week at The Masters Tournament.
As part of the agreement, Rose will wear the Teneo logo on his left sleeve during competition and will take part in a series of global client events each year, reflecting the growing role of elite sport in corporate engagement strategies.
The three-year partnership aligns one of the most respected figures in golf with a business that continues to expand its international footprint and deepen its presence in sport.
Rose arrives into the partnership in strong form, currently ranked No. 7 in the world and fresh from victory at the Farmers Insurance Open earlier this year. A former World No. 1, he is a Major Champion, Olympic Gold Medallist and a seven-time Ryder Cup representative for Team Europe, playing a central role in multiple victories, including last year’s win in New York.
Alongside the individual sponsorship, Teneo has also committed to supporting the Rose Ladies Series, further strengthening the shared focus between player and partner on the growth of women’s golf.
Originally launched during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide competitive opportunities for female professionals, the series has since developed into an important pathway within the women’s game, supporting players progressing towards the Ladies European Tour and the LET Access Series.
“We are very proud to welcome Justin Rose as a Teneo Brand Ambassador,” said Teneo CEO Paul Keary. “As the firm continues to expand around the world, our investment in golf and sports more broadly strongly supports Teneo’s growth ambitions, helping us to find new ways to engage with clients and partners.”
“Justin is an incredible golfer and a wonderful person whose deep commitment to excellence aligns directly with that of our firm,” he added.
“He is one of the most respected and admired athletes in the world and has a reputation for leadership and integrity which mirrors what our clients expect of us. I know our team of 1,800 professionals look forward to welcoming him to team Teneo.”
“Teneo is one of the world’s fastest growing professional services companies and I am really excited to be entering into this new partnership with the firm,” said Rose.
“Their focus on helping clients during critical moments matches my ambition to deliver at the highest level on the golf course. I am very much looking forward to spending time with Teneo’s team and clients around the world.”
The deal highlights the continued appeal of golf as a platform for premium B2B engagement, particularly around major events such as the Masters, where brand visibility is tightly controlled and association carries significant weight.
The partnership offers a combination of global visibility, access to high-value audiences and alignment with a player whose reputation extends beyond performance into leadership and professionalism.
It is alsao a great example of an advisory business using sport as a means of building deeper relationships with clients and stakeholders through shared experiences and access to global star appeal.
Rose replaces Shane Lowry on the Teneo roster with the Offaly man switching sides to Consello, a rival firm established by Teneo founder Declan Kelly.
