Basketball Ireland has signed another sponsorship extension following on from its deal with Subway announced last month.
Molten, the world’s leading manufacturer of sports balls and equipment, has renewed its partnership with the sport in Ireland for another three years.
The announcement was made as Molten visited the National Basketball Arena to unveil a new range of basketballs for the 2015/2016 season.
“The X-Series Technology is new to the range and has been seven years in the making. Ireland’s players will be some of the very first to get their hands on it,” said Jessica Lowy, Marketing Manager for the brand.
“We were really excited to bring the new range straight to Dublin.”
“We have developed an excellent relationship with Molten over the last number of years,” added Basketball Ireland CEO Bernard O’Byrne.
“They are a blue-chip company in basketball and in business. We look forward to continued success with them and ensuring only the very best for our players.”
Gary Cartwright, National Sales Manager of Molten UK and Ireland explained a little about the important relationship the brand feels it has with Basketball Ireland.
“National Governing Bodies have a massive role to play in the development of the tools of their trade and Ireland is no different. Our relationship with Basketball Ireland means we can offer new ways for players to develop each and every season.
“For instance, Molten have reacted to the growth in 3×3 basketball with a whole new range of balls that are perfect for the half court. Our new deep channel basketballs are great for younger and developing players in getting to grips with the game and the new look across the range keeps everything looking fresh too.”
