The manufacturer of Monster Energy is looking to double the workforce at its County Kildare manufacturing base to around 100 with planning permission applied to extend the premises in Athy.
The plant supplies product to European, Middle Eastern and African markets.
The parent company the Monster Beverage Corporation is listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange and is a major sporting sponsor around the world.
Its familiar Green logo can be seen on the bag of Tiger Woods and the helmets of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell driving for Mercedes in F1.
It is also a big player in motorsport, mountain biking, mixed martial arts, and with a host of individual athletes from cricket to professional bull riding.
