RedClick, the insurer formerly known as Liberty Insurance in the Irish market, has extended its partnership with the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) to host the annual Run‘n’Roll race, an inclusive, family-friendly event, on September 8th at St. Anne’s Park, Raheny.

This year’s event offers participants the opportunity to choose between a 2.5km and 5km course, designed to create an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of ability, can run, walk, roll, or stroll together.

With RedClick as the main sponsor, 100% of the race registration fees will directly support the IWA, making every step count towards a great cause.

“As part of our broader commitment to fostering greater equity, diversity, and inclusion within society, the Run‘n’Roll race presents a wonderful opportunity for us to bring families, friends, our colleagues and our customers together for a fun and meaningful day out,” said Roseanne Regan, Sustainability Manager at RedClick.

In addition to sponsoring this event, RedClick works closely with disability advocates, such as Jack Kavanagh and Joanne O’Riordan, to ensure their initiatives reflect a deep commitment to inclusivity.

“We are thrilled to be once again involved in such a positive and inclusive event,” said Kavanagh.

“The atmosphere at last year’s race was incredible, and I’m excited to see even more people turn out this year to support the cause.”

RedClick, a recent entrant into the Irish insurance market, offers Property & Casualty insurance products and serves over 250,000 customers across Ireland. With over 400 employees, the company encourages its entire team to participate in the Run‘n’Roll race, embodying the spirit of inclusivity that the event champions.

Sport for Business Context

Big brands’ support of inclusion benefits not only those with disabilities but also the company itself.

Research consistently shows an increase in customers’ affinity for brands that are seen to be doing the right thing.

Liberty Insurance was the founder sponsor of this event, and it is good to see their support continue through their new branding.

Sport for Business, in partnership with Allianz, will hold the 2024 Sport for Business Sport for Social Good Conference on Thursday, October 24th. This is an opportunity to explore initiatives that are placing inclusion front and centre stage.
