The first formal event of One-Zero kicked off at the Sandymount Hotel this afternoon when delegations from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and SportsTech HQ met with representatives from across the Irish sports business landscape.

Jeff Hintz, the Executive Director of Sports Tech HQ and Rob Hartnett of Sport for Business opened up the informal gathering and the conversation flowed across ways in which the State of Indiana and Ireland can build bridges and work closely together.

The founders of WiiStream whose business has taken off internationally after a meeting at last year’s One-Zero gave testament to the benefits of collaboration and this had the feeling of the start point for many more areas of collaboration.

David Watkins, Natasha Jensen-Matta and Ryan Locke represented the IEDC with Jeff Hintz, Jeron Peoples and Travis Stegemoller in the room from Sports Tech HQ.

Mary O’Connor of the Federation of Irish Sport, Richard Shakespeare from Dublin City Council, John Burke from VenuesWorld, Trev Keane of Epic Global, Aimee Williams from the IDA, Keith Brock from Enterprise Ireland and Eoin Conroy from Titan Experience joined Rob Hartnett on the home team.

One-Zero continues tonight at the Core HQ on Windmill Lane before moving to the Aviva Stadium tomorrow for the main event.
