A world-class line-up of thought leaders and brands from across the global sports industry will descend on Dublin from 28th to 30th March 2023, as the One-Zero Sports and Technology Conference returns to Ireland for the first time since 2019.

The conference will explore the future of sport and technology, with the key topics on the agenda being Sponsorship, Media, iGaming and Fantasy, and Web 3.

One-Zero aims to attract professionals and organisations with an interest in sport, business, and technology.

The three-day conference is aiming to attract some of the biggest names from international rights-holders, sponsors, brands, and agencies for learning, networking, and collaboration opportunities.

Sam Sadi, CEO of LiveScore group, and Allison Giorgio, Vice President of Marketing at Puma are among the first guests to be announced today, as early-bird tickets go on sale. Further speakers are set to be announced in the coming months.

Previous editions of One-Zero, with which we were closely involved as a co-founder, took place at the RDS and Croke Park with speakers from across the global sporting landscape including Sir Clive Woodward, Shane Lowry, Tony McCoy, and Hope Solo. The original staging of the event sought to bring Lance Armstrong to Dublin but he withdrew at the 11th hour.

One-Zero was reborn in Indianapolis in July 2022, re-introducing the event on a global stage post-pandemic. Over 30 international speakers delivered cutting-edge insights to a captive audience of change-makers, investors, and industry leaders across the sports and technology sector.

The conference received significant investment for a strategic stake in the business from the City of Indianapolis, which will bring the event back to the United States for the next three years.

“We are delighted to be able to bring One-Zero back to Dublin after a four-year hiatus,” said co-founder Ross O’Dwyer.

“Ireland has an incredibly strong sporting heritage, and when you add the fact that we’re home to some of the world’s most innovative companies, that’s a very exciting combination.”

“Having confirmed fascinating speakers from across the sports industry, including Sam Sadi of LiveScore and Allison Giorgio of Puma, just shows the draw of such an event in Ireland, but that’s only the beginning. We are looking forward to announcing the rest of the line-up in due course.”

O’Dwyer was a founder of Pundit Arena and also of Locker and is a long-time member of the Sport for Business network, alongside Greg Slattery of The Hospitality Partnership who is also involved, alongside Trev Keane of Epic Global in the esports space.

Tickets for the event are available via www.one-zero.com, with an early bird offer of €249 (ex VAT) running until the 15th of January 2023.
