Play in Pink has been renewed as an official charity partner of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, continuing a relationship that has become one of the most visible charitable collaborations in Irish golf.

The renewed partnership will see Play in Pink once again benefit from fundraising and awareness initiatives linked to one of the flagship events on the Irish sporting calendar, as the tournament continues to grow its profile both domestically and internationally.

Since returning to the schedule in 2022, the KPMG Women’s Irish Open has established itself as one of the standout events on the Ladies European Tour, attracting leading international players while also helping to elevate the visibility of women’s golf in Ireland.

The continuation of the partnership with Play in Pink reflects the tournament’s ongoing commitment to delivering social impact alongside elite sporting competition.

Play in Pink has become widely recognised across Irish golf through its support of breast cancer charities and services, with clubs around the country hosting fundraising initiatives and awareness days in support of the cause.

Tournament organisers said the renewal would help continue important fundraising efforts while also providing a high-profile platform to highlight the work of volunteers and supporters nationwide.

The KPMG Women’s Irish Open has increasingly positioned itself as more than simply a major sporting event, combining international competition with initiatives focused on participation, inclusion and community engagement.

This year’s tournament, scheduled for the last week of August at the K Club, is again expected to attract significant crowds and broadcast audiences, further strengthening the event’s role in the growth of women’s sport in Ireland and the wider golf industry.
