Irish fans of the English Premier League will be able to watch every game played until the end of February on one or other of the League’s broadcast partners.

The League has confirmed that every match played will be shown on either Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime or the BBC.

It is also likely that this will run through to the end of the season after Premier League bosses admitted last week we were unlikely to see the return of fans to grounds between now and then.

In a statement issued yesterday, the League said that ‘The Premier League and its clubs are committed to an accessible solution for fans.’

‘These plans have been made with the co-operation of our broadcast partners, working with us to deliver these additional matches while stadiums are missing the supporters who are such an integral part of the game.’

Before Christmas, the League had temporarily moved to a Pay Per View model with individual games not carried by the broadcasters being charged at a cost of £14.95. This move was resisted strongly by fans and dropped.
