Munster Rugby will host Toulouse at Thomond Park in the Round of 16 of the Heineken Champions’ Cup on Easter Weekend.
Leinster Rugby will also be at home against French opposition in RC Toulon in the Round of 16 which is scheduled for the weekend of 2/3/4 April.
The holders, Exeter Chiefs, will play against Lyon and Wasps will be at home against ASM Clermont Auvergne in another mouthwatering clash.
Last season’s Challenge Cup winners, Bristol Bears, will have to travel for their tie against Bordeaux-Bègles, Gloucester Rugby will host La Rochelle at Kingsholm, Scarlets are at home against Sale Sharks while Edinburgh Rugby will be away against Racing 92 at Paris La Défense Arena.
The Irish sides were unlucky in the draw for the Quarter Finals made at the same time with Leinster facing an away trip to Exeter or Lyon if they come through and Munster being drawn away to either wasps or Clermont Auvergne.
The exact dates of the Heineken Champions Cup Round of 16 fixtures including venues, kick-off times and TV coverage, will be announced following consultation with the clubs and EPCR’s partner broadcasters.
In the Challenge Cup Connacht will face an away trip to Leicester while Ulster will also be crossing the Irish Sea for a trip to face Harlequins in the shadow of Twickenham Stadium.
