Shamrock Rovers will welcome Hibernian F.C. to Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday, 30 June, for a special friendly fixture arranged as part of the Edinburgh club’s 150th anniversary celebrations.

Kick-off is scheduled for 8.00pm, with the match marking a notable link between Rovers and a club with deep roots in its Edinburgh community shaped by Irish heritage. Hibernian was founded in 1875 by members of that community and remains one of Scotland’s most historic clubs.

Rovers have confirmed that its share of proceeds from the match, after costs, will be reinvested through the Shamrock Rovers Community Foundation.

The funding will support local initiatives, inspire future generations and strengthen the communities connected to the club.

Home supporters will be accommodated in the West and South Stands of Tallaght Stadium, with away supporters seated in the East Stand.

Ticket prices have been set at €20 for adults, €15 for concessions and €8 for children under 12.

A hospitality package will also be available, priced at €100 per person, including a premium seat, buffet food and access to a cash bar before the match and at half-time.

The fixture underlines the growing use of heritage-led occasions and community activation as part of clubs’ wider commercial and supporter engagement strategies.
