Fota Island Resort has been confirmed as the official partner for the 2025 Irish Rowing Championships, taking place at the National Rowing Centre in Farran from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th July.
The announcement marks a continued relationship between Rowing Ireland and the five-star Cork resort, which earlier this year hosted the sport’s Annual Awards Night, a standout event celebrating a successful Olympic year in Paris 2024 and the achievements of the Irish rowing community.
Deirdre Lysaght, Commercial & Communications Manager at Rowing Ireland, welcomed the renewed partnership:
“We are delighted to be working with Fota Island Resort for this year’s Championships. Their involvement adds real value to the overall experience for our athletes, clubs and supporters.”
Finola Twomey, Director of Revenue, Sales & Marketing at Fota Island Resort, echoed the sentiment:
“We are delighted to once again align with Rowing Ireland on another key event. Following the success of the Annual Awards Night earlier this year, we’re proud to continue our partnership and support the rowing community as they return to Cork for the Championships.”
The Irish Rowing Championships 2025 are set to deliver a great weekend of top-level racing, with clubs and supporters from across the island descending on the National Rowing Centre next week.
