World Rugby has published its comprehensive analysis of the three bids to host the Rugby World Cup in 2023.

The bad news for Ireland is that we have come third of the three with South Africa recommended ahead of the Council vote on November 15th.

We will have a detailed analysis in tomorrow’s Sport for Business Daily news Digest but for now it appears that we have fallen short in experience, the minimum financial guarantee, our sustainability measures and technology at our venues.
