Savills Ireland has announced it is to sponsor the Savills Sandymount Night Run 5K and 10K, taking place on March 11, 2025, and again on October 21, 2025.

Set against the backdrop of Dublin’s iconic Poolbeg Towers, the annual sell-out race will see Sandymount Strand turned Savills yellow as runners race along the coast on the straight, flat course.

The Savills Sandymount Night Run features both a 5k and 10k route that is scenic and accessible from Dublin city, offering a perfect opportunity for beginners, seasoned, and fun runners to come together after work and take part in a memorable night run.

As a company committed to community engagement and promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace and beyond, Savills sponsorship of the Run aligns with its core values and dedication to supporting local initiatives. This event is an exciting opportunity to connect further with local residents and businesses

The race begins at the edge of Sean Moore Park, completing one loop before a long, straight out-and-back along the beach.

“We’re excited to be part of this event with Bear Races and look forward to supporting the Sandymount Night Run as it brings fun-runners and seasoned racers together in an iconic location,” said Mark Reynolds, Managing Director of Savills Ireland.

“We’re inviting runners from around the city to join us on the evening and take on a new challenge and some healthy competition with colleagues and friends.”

Registration for the race is now open, and Savills and Bear Races are encouraging all interested participants to sign up and take part before the event sells out.

Runners will receive a t-shirt before the run and a finisher’s medal upon crossing the finish line.

SPORT FOR BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE

The popularity of well organised events was proven last week when the new Dublin Half Marathon sold out to 12,500 runners in less than two hours. This is a slightly different but potentially wider audience and is likely to follow a similar path.

WHAT’S UP NEXT?

The first of this year’s two races will take place on March 11th.
