The Sport for Business syndicate racehorse Say What You Want is making her summer comeback this evening in a race at Leopardstown.
Things are still far from normal in terms of being able to arrange a visit to the stable or even to the racecourse to see her in the flesh but the updates from the team at All About Sunday have been excellent throughout.
They have included updates on her training and previews of tonight’s race.
It is a whole new approach to racehorse ownership, created by Darren McGrath after he sold his Brando advertising agency in Ireland.
“The idea was to make racehorse ownership accessible in an on-demand way, ” he told when we chatted earlier in the year.
We have eight of our Sport for Business members involved in Say What You Want and we are already tempted to get involved in another mini-syndicate based around the jumps season.
We’ll have a report from Leopardstown tonight on what it is like to get back to one of our favourite sporting venues.
