Munster Rugby’s URC Interpro derby against Leinster on St Stephen’s Day and the clash with Crusaders at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in February have both sold-out.

A combined total of 66,485 tickets have been snapped up for the two games, providing a solid financial boost for Munster and a guaranteed deepening of the connection with fans in Cork.

The Munster game against South Africa last year was hailed as a brilliant occasion and now this is clear evidence that the attraction was deeper than mer novelty value.

The Leinster game will be only the second Christmas Interpro derby in the past four years with the 2020 and 2021 editions both postponed.

A full house of 25,600 supporters will attend the eagerly-anticipated clash.

Crusaders won their seventh successive Super Rugby Pacific championship last summer and are the most successful team in the competition’s history with 14 title wins.

Stand tickets sold out very quickly and with the final Terrace tickets now snapped up, a capacity crowd of 40,885 will attend Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, February 3.

There are a small number of hospitality packages still available for Munster v Crusaders with match tickets included, but that is now the only way to get to see the game live.
