MayFest has become the flagship annual event for Vision Sports Ireland with a core focus on participation and increasing physical activity opportunities for people who are blind and vision-impaired across the country.

We were joined this morning by Catherine Walsh, a Paralympian at games from Barcelona in 1992 to London in 2012 to talk about the value of sport, the impact that Covid has had in particular on the vision-impaired community and her own memories of competing in Mayfest, this year celebrating its 40th anniversary.
