With the nation in lockdown for more than two months “what are you watching?’ has become a familiar refrain across conversations over the phone, in What’s App Groups and on the airwaves.
From a sports perspective, it has been nostalgia to the fore with RTÉ, TG4 and eir all going heavy on revisiting the past but there is a demand for deeper analysis and The Last Dance has been top of the Netflix Charts with its combination of character and storytelling.
Those in need of a replacement were in heaven this week with the launch of a new Sky Documentaries Channel with sport as a strong spine to its offering.
