Sport for Business is today launching a new performance programme bringing intelligence and technology developed through military application and enhanced in the field of elite sport to Irish business teams.

Sport for Business Perform will deliver a lifestyle awareness and management programme which has been described as ‘not so much a game changer as a life changer,’ in a pilot programme delivered in Sweden.

“We will start with six business teams in Dublin in 2017 and expand across the country and in numbers over the next three years,” said Sport for Business Founder Rob Hartnett.

“Great performance is born of a complex mix of mental and physical factors. That is understood in the world of sport and while the output in business is perhaps more mental than physical, the avoidance of overload and fatigue to sustain high performance are obvious parallels.”

“Sport for Business Perform will utilise a range of high-grade technologies and mathematics, designed specifically for High Performance environments to profile sleep, stress and the impact of fatigue. Making our offering personal allows people to recognise their own potential, and often need, for change.”

“We will then work on individual coaching programmes with team members to get them ‘game ready’ to be at their best in their working and their personal lives.”

Sport for Business Perform will be delivered in partnership with Support to Perform and Sports Science and Performance Coach Dr Jonathan Bloomfield who has consulted for the English, New Zealand and Irish Rugby Teams, Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool Football Clubs, Darren Clarke and many more.

“In business we’re used to measuring sales, productivity and profit,” added Dr Bloomfield. “The best businesses today and into the future will also measure the human factor in the areas of energy, resilience and individual readiness of key players on their teams.”

Sport for Business Perform will host a briefing for senior HR managers in Dublin on Friday, May 5th to reveal the timetable of the programme, and to give a taster session on what managers can expect for the key teams within their business.

I am interested in learning more and possibly in attending the Briefing Session for Sport for Business perform in Dublin on Friday, May 5th.
