The SSE Airtricity League is in the final countdown for a new season that promises to be the biggest, best and most important of recent years.

A new branding, the renaming of the Women’s Premier Division, two new teams coming into the mix and plenty more besides.

We went to the launch of the League for the first in our new Business of Football Podcast, in partnership with our friends at Sky Ireland, and we spoke to Mark Scanlon the League director at the FAI, and to Leanne Sheill, Senior Sponsorship manager at SSE Airtricity about their hopes and plans for the season ahead.
