Jim Flanagan

Jim Flanagan has become one of Ireland’s most exciting young voices in sports media, blending content creation, stadium entertainment, and brand partnerships.

As Leinster Rugby’s stadium announcer for all home games, he has brought energy and personality to matchdays, with the highlight, so far, being calling Leinster Vs Munster in front of 82,300 fans at Croke Park—a record-breaking moment for club rugby in Ireland.

Beyond the mic, he’s been a driving force in digital sports content, leading Irish coverage for ESPN’s College GameDay when FSU took on Georgia Tech in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, and playing a significant role in promoting the Pittsburgh Steelers’ visit to Ireland later this year.

He has worked with Adidas and Lifestyle Sports, including a campaign with Mason Melia ahead of his move to Spurs, and with SuperValu, David Clifford and David Gough shining a light on inclusivity in Irish sport.

He is part of the team at Fabric Social and All Irish Sport.

He graduated in 20245 from Maynooth University with a Degree in Business, Management and Marketing.

From the start, our ambition has been to create a network of people making a real difference within our industry.

Who should we be looking to for the next wave of excellence?

We will be naming one new 30 Under 30 individual in our Sport for Business Morning Bulletin from Thursday, March 20th, 2025

In May, we will gather once more in the offices of PwC to meet in person, share experiences, and forge valuable connections.

We will also examine additional ways to help those nominated enhance their careers and build strong friendships across the sector.
