The world of sports streaming will feature in a special sporting segment of Today with Claire Byrne on RTÉ Radio 1 before 12 noon today.
Rob Hartnett of Sport for Business and Emma Duffy from The 42.ie will join Byrne for a discussion around the changes which technology have been able to bring to sport during a period in which fans have been prevented from getting to matches at the highest and the most grassroots of levels.
We will look at the ‘democratisation’ of sport and the ability now for every local club to become a broadcaster in their own right and bind together the ties of community even when supporters and even families were prevented from gathering on the side of a pitch.
