The Ladies Gaelic Football and Camogie Associations have teamed up with Ticketmaster to utilise cutting-edge digital ticketing technology across a wide range of fixtures – from local club events to championship matches.
In addition to the ticketing arrangement, Ticketmaster will also make a financial contribution towards the development of the games at the grassroots level, further elevating the visibility and accessibility of women’s sports.
“It’s a privilege working with LGFA and Camogie,” said Nuala Skeffington, Client Development Manager at Ticketmaster.
“Joining forces to champion women’s sports and enhance the overall fan experience has been very rewarding.”
“It’s an exciting time with these teams and athletes finally moving towards getting the recognition they deserve.”
“I would like to thank Ticketmaster most sincerely for their generous support contribution, which will be used for the development of Ladies Gaelic Football,” said LGFA President Micheál Naughton.
“Ticketmaster continues to provide a wonderful service in the sales and promotion of some of our biggest fixtures.”
“We are very thankful for the support from Ticketmaster and their generous contribution to grassroots camogie,” added Camogie Association Árd Stiurthóir Sinéad McNulty.
“During Women in Sport Week, we take great pride in emphasising the significance of our sport and the immense value our supporters place on it.”
Ticketmaster is the existing ticketing partner of the GAA and this can be seen as another example of the closer working relationships taking place ahead of integration of the three different Gaelic Games bodies.
