The United Rugby Championship has announced a comprehensive partnership with sports travel specialist Destination Sport Group.

A leading travel management provider for elite sports clubs and governing bodies, Destination Sport Travel will support the tournament, its 16 teams across two hemispheres and five countries, with its travel requirements.

As part of the partnership, URC staff and match officials will benefit from global, 24/7 support with travel and accommodation.

Destination Sport Travel will also support with the travel, accommodation and ground transportation for the URC Grand Final, in London next year, managing arrangements on behalf of competing teams and officials, plus wider groups including sponsors and media.

Destination Sport Travel works on behalf of 35+ sports organisations around the world including Manchester City FC, British Cycling and Scottish Rugby, plus nine rugby clubs including four of those competing in the United Rugby Championship.

In addition, Sportsbreaks.com, Destination Sport Group’s fan travel division which provides ticket-inclusive packages to many of the world’s top sporting events, will offer supporter travel packages including ticket and hotel breaks for the URC Grand Final.
