
It is the final Olympic warm up tournament for some of the world’s best teams with reigning Olympic Champions Hungary, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and Great Britain taking part in games spread across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The event is being hosted by the Irish Water Polo Association and Swim Ireland. It is considered one of the most significant gains for the sporting and local economy from the proximity of the London 2012 games, and will showcase the National Aquatic Centre as a facility for international teams preparing for major competitions.
