22 teams have been entered for the 2021 Sport for Business Super Quiz which will get underway in the coming weeks.

2020 Champions Teneo are back to defend their title as are the runners up from last year 2Into3 and they are joined by big guns from across the sporting, sponsorship and media sector.

Each team of three will compete in a qualifier round where there will be three or four teams going head to head. The winner from each tie will advance to the quarter-finals which from then on will be a straight knock-out. There will be a final chance for the three best runners-up in the qualifier round who will go head to head in a final repechage event for the eighth and final place.

The 22 teams who are taking part in this year’s contest are:

Teneo, Wilson Hartnell, Core Sponsorship, Thinkhouse, 2Into3, Ripple Marketing, AIG, OTB Sports, RTÉ Sport, Special Olympics Ireland, Horse Racing Ireland, Cara, Dublin City Council, Pundit Arena, Future Ticketing, Sport Ireland Campus, Sporting Pride, the GAA, GAA Handball, Olytico, Legacy Communications and Balls.ie.

A draw for the Qualifier round will be made and revealed on Wednesday morning and the qualifiers will take place during the week of May 24th.

Each contest will have four rounds of four questions and will cover a variety of different subjects. Sport and general knowledge will be included in each contest with the other subjects to be drawn from popular culture, history, geography, Irish and international politics, and maybe a few surprises.

Each team in turn will get to answer four questions and any that they get wrong will be passed onto the next team for a chance to grab a bonus point.

There will be a time limit on discussion among the team members and each show will be edited and played out as part of the Sport for Business digest through the month of June.

It promises to be a bit of fun and we look forward to welcoming 66 of our smartest, most enthusiastic and possibly most intelligent members of the Sport for Business community to show their talents and emerge perhaps as true Champions.

Join us on Wednesday morning for the Draw for the Qualifier round.

All those taking part are among more than 250+ members of the Sport for Business network of sporting and business organisations working together across a number of key areas.
