The Sport for Business Super Quiz is open for entries from this morning.
For the past two years, it has provided fun and friendly competition between teams representing the leading sporting bodies, sponsors, media and agencies across our network.
In 2020 it was Teneo that emerged on top. Last year the powerhouses of Irish sporting media held sway with OTB Sport just edging out RTÉ Sport on the final tiebreaker of the Grand Final.
Our range of questions goes from sport to popular culture with a smattering of politics, history and geography thrown into the mix for good measure.
There is satisfaction in the winning and a fair few laughs in some of the wrong answers and the ones that are just there on the tip of a team’s tongue but cannot be got onto the screen in time.
The format will once again require teams of three individuals to engage in some smart thinking, be possessed of a modicum of good luck and somehow know the most random of facts from somewhere in their memory banks.
All we are asking at the moment is that you indicate below that you are interested in entering a team. We will then determine the best format based on the number of teams that want to take part. We will try to be imaginative and give everyone a good experience.
We will run the tournament through the month of May 2022, with each round planned to take up around 30-40 minutes.
The Sport for Business Super Quiz will take place in a virtual format in the early stages and who knows what will be possible once we get to a final.
