Rob Hartnett Launch 2Sport for Business reached a milestone this week with the publication of our 2,000th article on and around the commercial world of Irish sport.

At an average of 500 words per article that makes up to one million words on the subject of how sport and business can connect as well as possible and be of greatest benefit to each other and to society.

We try to bring a fresh perspective on how smart people are doing just that here and abroad.

We put forward ideas that may appear crazy but which in many cases have gathered momentum and brought about real change.

In many ways though our most important role is to hold a mirror up to the work that you, our members and guests are doing between the worlds of sport and business every day.

Thank you for your support through the first one million words.  Thank you especially to those many of you who see merit in what we are building and have chosen to be part of it through taking out membership.

Thank you most especially for sticking with us as we progress through the next one million words and way beyond.  We are taking a short break with no digest on Monday or Tuesday but here is a small taste of what is to come over the next two weeks and beyond on Sport for Business.
