Curry’s and PC World have become official supporters of the FAI for the duration of the Euro 2012 Championships.
The partnership will enable the electrical retail stores to run promotional campaigns based on the Irish team’s history and achievements across its 28 stores throughout the country.
Samsung forecast at the start of 2012 that the combination of the Championships and the London Olympic Games could lead to a spike in new TV sales around the world of between 15 and 20 per cent this year.
“This partnership will bring significant benefits to Curry’s and PC World  and will help us continue our significant investment in the development of the sport throughout Ireland, said FAI CEO John Delaney launching the deal.”
“Curry’s and PC World’s Irish stores will be offering special deals on the latest TVs over the next few weeks,” added Curry’s and PC World Commercial director Peter Gallogly.
“Customer competitions are also planned and we have an extensive marketing campaign celebrating Irish footballs biggest ever moments.”
