Aon, the official partner of Women’s Rugby in Ireland have launched a new campaign running up to the Women’s Rugby World Cup taking place in Dublin and Belfast this August.

The first in a series of events focusing on particular elements of preparation for the tournament and for life took place in Dublin on Friday morning on the subject of Wellness to Wellbeing.

Ireland women’s rugby head coach Tom Tierney, captain Niamh Briggs and fly half Nora Stapleton were on hand to launch the campaign and to explore how taking a holistic approach to wellbeing can drive elite performance.

“Aon‘s huge commitment to women’s rugby is very clear to see through their sponsorships across both the Women’s Rugby World Cup and Ireland Women’s team,” said Tierney whose team came within one game this spring of a second 6 Nations Grand Slam.
