The channel is to show no fewer than seven live games on Saturday and Sunday.
These will include all four Allianz League Division Football Finals, the two Allianz League semi-finals and the Masita GAA All Ireland Post-primary Schools Final.
TG4’s live coverage from Croke Park starts on Saturday afternoon at 2:35 pm with live coverage of the Division 4 and Division 3 Allianz Football League Finals. This will be followed by live coverage of Tipperary v Limerick from Semple Stadium, Thurles. The Schools Croke Cup Final will be shown live on TG4’s YouTube channel at 5 pm.
Sunday’s unbroken coverage from Croke Park begins at 1:30pm with live coverage of Cavan v Roscommon followed by Dublin v Galway.
Wexford v Kilkenny will be shown live on TG4’s YouTube channel at 2 pm before being shown again in full deferred coverage after the Dublin Vs Galway match.
Seven live games then across three stadia and two channels. That is some undertaking for the TG4 Sport team and the Nemeton production units that will be helping to deliver it. Just nobody mention snow!
And if the live coverage wasn’t enough you can whet your appetite this evening when Tyrone manager Mickey Harte is the latest GAA star to feature in the popular Laochra Gael programme at 9:30 pm.
Harte has 3 All Ireland Titles and 6 Ulster Championship Titles to his credit. He is also a grief counsellor, spiritual mentor and motivational speaker. Mickey has risen above the Troubles, bitter controversy on and off the pitch as well as intense personal tragedy. This final episode in the 2018 series profiles a man who remains an inspirational figure not only for Tyrone footballers and fans but many people far beyond the 4 white lines of the pitch.
