Greta Streimikyte won Gold for Ireland at the 2018 European Paralympic Championships and will travel to Tokyo one year from now to represent her adopted country at the highest level.
She came to athletics late at the age of 17, after the recommendation of her PE Teacher in school. Now she is paying that back by being one of the athletes taking part in the Dare to believe programme inspiring young children to get involved in sport.
She is also a Masters Graduate in Business Management and while concentrating on athletics at the moment is clearly someone to watch as her career develops on and off the track.
Greta is an ambassador with Circle K on their Here for Ireland campaign that supports a range of Team Ireland athletes across the Olympics and Paralympics.
