Ireland’s largest gym chain Flyefit is opening up free access to 150 of its online video workouts while gyms are forced to remain closed.
“The closure of gyms is having a massive impact on people’s physical health and mental wellbeing and this is our way of doing what we can to help them to stay positive and to get through this third lockdown,” said Graham Doak, Head of Fitness at FLYEfit.
The on-demand video workouts are normally only available to Flyefit members paying €29 per month and have been available since gyms were closed and in the period where the return to them was slow during the first easing of restrictions due to concerns over Covid.
Flyefit have allowed members defer all their monthly payments, pending a resumption of activity and now the company is opening up the Flyefit portal to anyone who wants to use it.
“People are making the workouts part of their day,” added Dook. “Our most popular classes are Mobility, Yoga, Pilates, Dancefit and Conditioning.”
Flyefit is an Irish company and Ireland’s largest gym chain. It operates 16 gyms with 70,000 members. It developed and built the FLYEPLUS online platform during the first lockdown and continually adding new video classes and content in response to public feedback.
