We are joined by Kieran McSweeney of the Gaelic Players Association and Ronan Doyle of Connolly Partners to discuss the unveiling this morning of a new brand identity for the merged Gaelic Players Association and the Women’s Gaelic Players Association.

That decision to merge was confirmed in December and will be finalised on July 12th when Tom Parsons takes over as the new CEO and the new 16 strong National Executive Committee is elected.

Later today the Association will go public for the first time with the new identity but we have a sneak preview for Sport for Business readers.

We cover the thinking behind the new look, the choice of colours and the method behind looking at a logo, including the still most important element of sketching out concepts using pencil and paper.

It is a good insight into the process and we are pleased to give you a first look this morning.
